New Delhi, 10th October, 2017 Sony, a worldwide leader in digital imaging and the world’s largest image sensor manufacturer today announced an addition to its acclaimed Cyber-shot® RX10 series, the RX10 IV (model DSC-RX10M4).

Building on the success of last year’s RX10 III, this new versatile camera features the world’s fastest 0.03 sec high speed AF with 315 focal-plane phase-detection AF points. An ideal complement to the AF system, the RX10 IV offers continuous high-speed shooting at up to 24 fps with full AF/AE tracking.

The new RX10 IV includes the 24-600mm4 ZEISS® Vario-Sonnar T* lens and features a large maximum aperture of F2.4-F4.0, helping it achieve outstanding image quality throughout the entire zoom range, all the way up to ultra-telephoto. The lens also has built-in Optical SteadyShot™ image stabilization that helps to reduce camera shake and image blur. When the feature is activated, it is equivalent to an approximate 4.5 steps shutter speed improvement.

The RX10 IV also features Sony’s latest 3.0-type 1.44M dot tiltable LCD screen with Touch Focus and Touch Pad function – another first for Cyber-shot RX series – for quick and smooth focusing operation, and WhiteMagic™ technology, ensuring that LCD viewing is bright and clear in even the harshest outdoor lighting conditions. It is also the latest Cyber-shot RX camera to offer the advantages of 4K (QFHD 3840 x 2160) movie recording, with its Fast Hybrid AF system realizing about 2x faster focusing speed compared to the RX10 III.

The camera utilizes the XAVC S™[4] codec, recording video at a high data rate of up to 100 Mbps depending on shooting mode. It also features Super slow-motion[5] video recording with an extended duration of about 4 seconds (in quality priority mode) and 7 seconds (in shoot time priority).

The newly launched RX10 IV will be available in all Alpha flagship stores and major electronic stores across India.

14 Year Old Hacker Hired by Microsoft after doing phishing via Call of Duty Server

14 Year Old Hacker Hired by Microsoft after doing phishing via Call of Duty Server   These are the kinds of things dreams are made of, a 14 year old hacker on Call of Duty was just recruited by Microsoft. You heard me right, Microsoft. This is exactly what Sony should have done with George Hotz – given him a job as a security specialist, instead of suing him in court and getting its PlayStation Network and other Sony websites hacked day in and out. Microsoft is reported to be working with the 14-year-old Irish hacker who managed to stir up a little trouble with his Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 phishing scam alert. According to the managing director of Microsoft of Ireland, the company is helping the hacker “develop his talent for legitimate purposes.” Congrats to that young hacker, whose name was not disclosed. While the new prospect for the Dublin kid is not meant to be an example for other hackers to follow, companies do have to realize that the...
